*north is earth, *south is fire, *east is air, *west is water, *center is spirit * gnomes are spirits of the earth, *salamanders are spirits of fire, *sylphs are spirits of air, *undines are sprits of water, *akasha is the element of spirit i do want to say these elemental creatures can be anything you want them to be, visualize a dog, bird, dolphin, anything you can visualize, they work for you, nothing is written in stone. In fact, i know of people who think of them as the archangels in the bible because of their familiarity with them. They are there to protect you while your in the circle, and who better to watch over us than angels :)  Quarter Calling I dont have anything specific, you can find it in alot of books, but i did it because it is best to design your own, it can be simple like "i call upon the the gnome of earth whose place is in the north to watch this rite and protect my magick circle" to a long poem, its up to you! *call after circle is cast, *can ring bell 4x, *to release quarters when your done, walk counterclockwise & bid farewell thanking them.  | | |
