Circle casting is terribly easy, alot of newcomers are afraid they will mess up or get it wrong, thats not the case. Dont worry if your alittle nervous, i been there, the god and goddess wont be mad because you forgot a word or walked around the circle only once! you will get comfortable as you practice. The circle is important though, it protects you from negative energies thats around us. heres a simple layout.

-start at the north and extend your right arm or wand (left if your a lefty.)

-say circle casting words, a short poem, a chant, ect. simple one would be " i cast my magic circle to protect me during my rite."

-walk clockwise and envision a protective bubble, walk 3x.

-dont worry if your pets or children walk thru, they dont affect it.

-if you need to leave, dont just walk thru it, cut a door and close it, then come back, open door, and close it behind you, i feel more comfortable creating a new one.

-envision the bubble turn into a soft mist and say "the circle is open, but not unbroken"

-another way is to say "release" and envision it sink to the ground
