This is where you do your magick and devotion. an alter is a must have. you can use anything, from a tree stump to your dresser! it can be round square, or rectangle, its up to you. you dont have to set it up a certain way,but have a reason why you put the stones in the east, maybe in your location thats where its best. you can make earth south, and air north-you may put stones in south, and some feathers in north. some say theres a particular way of doing it, but most dont, including me. after all, you make the magick, not your alter.
